The United States of America is a representative democracy, which means we elect representatives to make decisions on our behalf.

It is the right and responsibility of everyone who is a citizen and of legal age, to vote. This ensures that everyone's preference is accounted for and that our elected representatives genuinely reflect the view of a majority of the electorate.

Local elections are coming up, with candidates for the Board of Education, Supervisor, and Mayor. More information on voting registration, polling places, and general voter information can be found here.

USE YOUR VOICE! VOTING IS YOUR RIGHT!
